Scheme Name:
"ARIVU" EDUCATION LOAN SCHEME (2021-22)
Description:

“Arivu” Education Loan Scheme implemented by the Karnataka Minority Development Corporation (KMDC) for 2021-22, will not be eligible for any courses other than those of the Medical / Professional Courses selected by the Karnataka Examination Authority in the new (Fresh) cases. The loan will be given only to students of Medical / Professional Courses selected by Karnataka Examination Authority vide Government Order No. MWD 61 MDC 2021 dated: 29-09-2021 1) Fresh and renewal applications must be submitted through the online software. 2) Students are required to pay 12% of the previous year loan amount when submitting Renewal applications online at the respective District Offices. 3) Loan facility is applicable only for Professional Courses selected by Karnataka Examination Authority. 4) The Institution / Colleges shall ensure that they have a caste/income certification from the Tahsildar regarding Student belonging to category II-B (Income limit should not exceed Rs. 8.00 Lakhs). 5) Loan amount to students will be transferred directly from the corporation to the bank account of the college through DBT. 6) Students selected from Karnataka Examination Authority (CET / NEET) for M.B.B.S., Degree Courses Release of maximum Rs.2,.00 Lakhs to students selected to Government / Private Colleges (Fresh and renewal). 7) Students selected from Karnataka Examination Authority (CET / NEET) for B.D.S, Degree Courses Release of maximum Rs.30,000/- to students selected to Government / Private Colleges (Fresh and renewal). 8) Students selected from Karnataka Examination Authority (CET / NEET) (AYUSH) for Bachelor of Architecture / Engineering / Technology (BE / B.Tech)Ayush, BDS Degree Courses Release of maximum Rs.2,.00 Lakhs to students selected to Government / Private Colleges (Fresh and renewal).


Eligibility:

1.        The applicant should belong to religious minority community as defined in the government order.

2.        They should be permanent residents of Karnataka State.

3.        They should produce Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Ration Card for residence proof.

4.       Annual family income from all sources should not exceed Rs. 8.00 Lakhs.
